Come See Me Tell It Live

There’s something special about a story told live. Whether I’m hosting, featured on a lineup, or taking the mic at my own show, I love the electric connection between storyteller and audience. Below are my upcoming and past performances—if you’re local (or virtual!), I’d love to see you there.

Storytelling Sundays: Stories of Home @ 2 PM

What does home mean to you? Is it a place you return to, a person you carry with you, a memory, or something you're still searching for?

On Sunday, June 28th, Storytelling Sundays returns to the Trefz Forum at The Westport Library with Stories of Home — a free afternoon of true, personal stories curated and hosted by me, ChaChanna Simpson.

Five stellar storytellers will take the stage to share their own interpretations of home in all its forms — the places we've loved, the ones we've lost, and the ones we've built along the way.

The Lineup

Jennifer Munro — recipient of the National Storytelling Network's Circle of Excellence Award, whose stories explore the frailty and courage at the heart of what it means to be human.

Nina Lesiga — event producer and music maker who has performed at the Women's Storytelling Festival and Generation Women, and never fails to find the humor and surprise in life's unexpected moments.

Wendy Mages — professor and scholar at Mercy University who brings intellectual depth and personal warmth to everything she shares.

Rona Levine — yoga teacher, energy healer, and herbalist devoted to healing and human connection.

ChaChanna Simpson — writer, curator, and host of Storytelling Sundays, stepping into the circle to share her own story of home.
