Returning to Reality: Unpacking, Office Surprises, and Post-Vacation Bliss

Slept only four hours because I am the type of person who must unpack and watch clothes immediately upon return from vacation. It doesn’t matter what time I get in. It’s worth it to wake up to a clutter-free home. 

Also, am I the only one who cleans her apartment before I leave for vacation? Yes? No? What side are you on? 

Entering the office with a bounce in my step and a genuine smile on my face; my smile widened when I discovered a lovely purple package waiting on my desk from a kind coworker.  I am waiting to use the scratch-off on Thursday. I’ve always wanted one of those glass drinking cups, and I thought it was very thoughtful to include the cleaning brush to clean the straw. 

I went back into the gym, and cardio almost killed me. I left a lot of sweat and silent tears on the turf.

Ended the night with some quality time with my honey, who I hadn’t seen since I left last week for sand and sunshine. Stellar way to reenter my life after vacation.
