Mood Booster Unlocked: Exercise FTW! šŸƒā€ā™‚ļøāš”

You ever have one of those days where you’re just not feeling it? I was having one of those days. I woke up feeling a little eh but thought I could shake it off. And as the morning progressed, my mood declined and I started to feel just uncomfortable in my skin. I just felt bleh.Ā 


You ever feel that way?Ā 


Ugh! It’s so annoying. It just continued until I went to the gym. And man, did that make a remarkable difference. It was a cardio day, which I have come to loathe. Somewhere in the midst of bargaining for air and convincing myself this is good for me, my mood changed.


And now I get it.Ā 


I always used to hear people say that going to the gym helped clear their minds. Doctors and random people on the Internet claimed working out was a good mood booster. Turns out they weren’t lying. I legit feel better. I’m amazed actually.


So note to self, I can take two days off from working out, but I can’t take three in a row. My body gets antsy and my mood is unstable. I might be in the process of becoming addicted. Like a coffee addict who takes a day off and the body begins to go through withdrawal. Hmm, never thought that would be me.Ā 


No matter. I get the message. This body is now used to moving. So move we shall.
